Hole in One!

Graeme Smith had a hole in one at the 130 yard  17th hole at Downfield  Golf Club using an 8 iron.

He was playing in the seniors inter club match and his playing partners were Bill Sharp, John Walker and Bill Sherriff.

Downfield won the match by 4 matches to two.

 
Visiting Golfers
Over 200 members of the American Singles Golf Association played the Carnoustie courses on Tuesday, August 3rd.   The organization has 3,500 members and is for single people who enjoy golf.  Visit them at www.SinglesGolf.com .

The Club has taken delivery of a new range of Ashworth and Callaway merchandising for 2009.

At this time no photographs are available but in the very near future they will be added to the web site.
